Ubyquo installation guide: server

Install Ubyquo on the server, configure SQL Server and share the Quantyca folder with the required permissions.

This guide describes the general procedure to install Ubyquo on the server. When you finish, install Ubyquo on the users' computers with the Ubyquo installation guide: client computers.

Important: before you start the installation, check the environment requirements, the ERP in use, the location where Ubyquo will be installed and the users who will need access.

Prerequisites

Microsoft .NET Framework

Every computer where Ubyquo will be used must have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 installed: Download .NET Framework 4.8.

SQL Server

The server must allow the installation of SQL Server 2014 Express or a later compatible version. Express editions are free up to 10 GB per database; above that, you need a licensed edition of SQL Server.

SQL Server Management Studio

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) must be installed on the server: Download SSMS.

Before you run the installer

  • Make sure you are working on the server or computer where Ubyquo will be installed.
  • Make sure the computer has the corresponding ERP or accounting software installed.
  • Confirm with the customer which drive or location they want the installation in.
  • Make sure you have enough permissions to install and to configure SQL Server.
